SHAPE: Lots of versions in ancient cities of the Western-Eastern greek alphabet groups. Two main versions:
The eastern group of cities used Ψ for [ps] and X for [k^h]. (See Chi X page)
The western group, used X for [ks] ΦΣ for [ps] and Ψ for [k^h].
According to script historians the Ψ symbol came from extending the middle antenna of Y.
